Description:
EPDM rubber is an elastomer derived from ethylene and propylene monomers. It is one of the most versatile and durable rubbers available and provides an excellent resistance to heat, weathering and ozone. It is suitable for use in extreme cold temperatures and outdoor applications and makes an excellent electrical insulator.
Typical Applications
EPDM O-Rings are frequently used with foods, water, steam applications, phosphate ester type hydraulic fluids, brake fluids, ketones, ozone and UV applications. They can also be used with alkalis, mild acidic and oxygenated solvents. They are compatible with many polar fluids and chemicals.
Other uses are seen within automotive manufacturing, medical devices, water and wastewater system and also household appliances.
Do Not Use With:
Mineral Oil products, oils, and greases. Gasoline, petroleum oil and grease, and hydrocarbon environments.
