Description:
This material is an interlock braided pure carbon yarn which is impregnated with proprietary lubricants and graphite particles. This allows for blocking of leakage, filling any voids and acting as a break-in lubricant. Due to the low coefficient of friction with this material, it provides a longer equipment life and reduced shaft wear. This type of braided packing tends to wear more evenly than its counterparts. Featuring an excellent chemical resistance and high thermal conductivity allows this material to last longer and to be used within most chemical applications - espeically for aqueous solutions of acids, alkalis and highly corrosive substances.
Applications
This pure carbon yarn material packing is excellent for handling water, steam, boiler feed and also features a great resistance to chemicals.
