Product Overview
Description:
This material is a pliable yet firm type of packing that consists of a non-porous PTFE fiber in an interlock braiding style. This material is treated with PTFE dispersion to create a dimensionally stable yet soft and flexible material to be used within high-speed rotary shaft servicing. It is pre-shrunk to avoid any wear or shaft scoring. This material features improved peripheral speed characteristics and exothermic properties that other materials do not possess.
Applications
This material complies with the FDA and USDA requirements for both Perflourocarbon Resins and Lubcricants with Incidental Food Contact. Featuring an excellent resistance to most caustic medias, it is primarily used in rotary and centrifugal food processing equipment.
Typically Used In:
1. Hydrocarbon and petrochemical processing and refining |
2. Oil, Gas, Pulp and Paper Industries |
3. Chemicals, Corrosives, Solvents and Acids |
4. Chlorinators, Alkaline and acid situations, strong caustics |
