Description:
This packing material is constructed in an interlock braid style consisting of carbon fibers which are impregnated with PTFE and a special lubricant. This construction results in a very tough packing with an excellent wear resistance that also prevents contamination within applications. This material boasts an excellent chemical resistance and can handle chemicals over the entire 0-14 pH range, excluding strong oxidizers.
Applications
Ideal for applications where contamination is prohibited, this packing is popular within the pulp and paper industry. The material used in this packing style is especially designed for applications involving strong caustics, chemicals and acids.
