Product Overview
Description:
This gasket material is made of PTFE with glass (aluminosilicate) microspheres. This material features a tight seal and improved performance over the conventionally used material PTFE. Emissions, creep relaxation and product loss are reduced with using this material and with its unique manufacturing process, minimizes the typically experienced cold flow issues of skived PTFE sheet materials.
Applications
Its suitability and design is for the use of moderate and aggressive chemical applications and concentrations of acids, hydrocarbons, caustics, refrigerants and more. This material is preferred for fragile flages, equipment with glass linings or any other applications that call for excellent compressibility.
Typically Used In:
1. Moderate or Aggressive chemicals, acids and some caustics |
2. Hydrogen Peroxide, Hydrocarbons, Cryogenics |
3. Water, Steam, Refrigerants and Solvents |
4. Liquid Chlorine and Oxygen, Titanium Dioxide, Oleum, Gaseous Oxygen |
