Product Overview
Description:
This style of packing is constructed with synthetic novoloid fibers that are impregnated with PTFE and manufactured in an interlock braid. Individual fibers within the braid are lubricated through a special process that assures a longer packing life through a thorough lubrication. This packing material is considered a high-performance alternative to standard PTFE packings.
Applications
This packing style does not contain any graphite material, therefore will not discolor any fluids being pumped. It features a tolerance for high-temperatures due to the lubricant used within the construction process. Recommended for general service use where graphite may not be acceptible.
