Product Overview
Description:
This material is a flexible, yet dense general service packing made of synthetic yarns impregnated with a petroleum-based lubricant and graphite in an interlock braiding. This packing adapts well to scored or worn out shafts, therefore it is used often in older equipment. The graphite within the packing ensures an enhanced heat dissipation and the lubricant is made to leach out of the packing, decreasing frictional heat, which allows for a increase in packing and sleeve life.
Applications
Great general service packing. It is best used in centrifugal pumps, reciprocating plunger pumps, agitators, mixers, reactors and valves.
Typically Used In:
1. General Service industries |
