Product Overview
Description:
This style of compression packing is constructed with a high-temperature flexible graphite and features an Inconel filament jacket. This advanced construction process results in a self-lubricating, non-hardening packing boasting a resistance to heat, pressure and chemicals while being mechanically and dimensionally stable.
Applications
With the ability to minimize friction and the excellent physical properties this compression packing material provides, makes it ideal for use within valves and any application where chemical, heat or pressure resistance is necessary. It is not to be used on pump shafts, but can be used within a broad range of applications. This packing provides leakage control and a high integrity within hydrocarbon and steam services.
Typically Used In:
1. Extreme pressure steam and hydrocarbons |
2. Expansion joints, valves, high-temperature groove gasketing and power generation applications |
3. Petrochemical and Chemical applications |
4. Any application where chemical, pressure or heat is necessary |
