Product Overview
Description:
Diagonally braided from pure expanded flexible graphite, this packing material is then reinforced at the corners and throughout the body of the packing with high-quality carbon fibers. This reinforcement makes this packing up to three times more resistant to extrusion and increases its capability in handling pressure compared to non-reinforced graphite packings.
Applications
This packing style is extremely versatile and can be used within a litany of demanding applications. Whether dynamic or static applications, this packing is suited in high temperature and pressure services. It can withstand most chemicals within the 0-14 pH scale, excluding strong oxidizers.
Typically Used In:
1. Expansion joints, mixers, agitators, pumps and valves |
2. Most chemicals with the pH scale excluding strong oxidizers |
3. Any application demanding high-temperature or pressure |
