Product Overview
Description:
This TEADIT packing material utilizes an expanded PTFE Graphite Yarn that encapsulates a high-strength aramid fiber core. This packing combines the exceptional mechanical strength of the aramid fiber core with the chemical resistance, self-lubrication and heat conductivity of the PTFE Graphite jacket. It is constructed in an interlock braiding style and subjected to a high-temperature break-in lubricant.
Applications
Featuring a high resistance to extrusion, over four times higher than coventional PTFE Graphite packings, this packing material is most suited for aggressive chemical fluids within high surface speed and pressure applications. The packing material is a superior general service and corrosive service as well.
Typically Used In:
1. Aggressive chemical fluids, corrosive materials |
2. Processes with high pressures and surface speeds |
3. Excellent for general service applications |
