Product Overview
Description:
This packing material is constructed with an advanced method of braiding using a special additive encapsulated by pure PTFE. Due to its unique construction, it features excellent heat dissipation and sealability, particularly when compared to other PTFE packings. This packing's raw materials comply with the FDA and USDA requirements apply under Title 21 Food and Drugs: Part 177.1500 - Perflourocarbon Resins Part 178.3570 - Lubricants with Incidental Food Contact
Applications
This packing style material offers excellent performance, especially in segments of equipment for pulp and paper, food, chemical, pharmaceutical and sugar and alcohol. The food-grade lubricant used within the construction of this packing material provides a faster break-in and thus overall reduces shaft wear. Also heavily used within temperature gradient and chemically aggressive applications.
